2 km from Santu Lussurgiu, on the road that leads you to the tourist hamlet of San Leonardo, you will meet on the left, after a few bends, a wooden sign showing the 'Agriturismo Francadu '. The Deriu family welcomes you in the agriturismo open all year (booking is required). The traditional dishes are home-made pasta (ravioli and gnocchi), roasted piglet and lamb, seasonal fruit and vegetables. Delicious and varied meals are served to give you the taste of the genuine cooking tradition of Santu Lussurgiu. Excellent quality and fresh ingredients, grown in the farm, are the basic elements for the preparation of all the dishes, made especially with products of the organic farm. All around the farm there are a lot of trees that produce apples, pears, peaches, damsons, plums, khakis, walnuts, apricots, chestnuts etc... Five comfortable rooms located on the ground floor, open directly into a large garden area in the easte part of the agriturismo. Services of high quality and a comfortable atmosphere. The agriturismo is 35 km far from the uncontaminated beaches of the Sinis area. They are characterized by an enormous environmental interest. In San Giovanni di Sinis, near Cabras, the ruins of the famous town of Tharros (initially nuraghic and then Carthaginian) lie. Going northwards we meet the quartziferous sandy beaches of considerable beauty (Is Arutas and Mari Ermi), and we get to the uncontaminated peninsula of Capo Mannu. Then we get to the beautiful beaches of Is Arenas where, in the near pine-wood, there is one of the most beautiful golf course in Europe. The fascinating arch of S 'Archittu and the hamlet of Santa Caterina. Not far from the agriturismo, the beautiful historical town of Bosa. Here you can go through one of the most spectacular roads in Sardinia and then, easily get to Alghero.

	In agosto io e mio marito siamo andati a pranzo nell'agriturismo e ci siamo trovati benissimo. I cibi che ci hanno servito erano deliziosi e gustosi. Abbiamo potuto assaggiare alimenti genuini prodotti dall'azienda; era tutto buonissimo. Il servizio è stato eccellente. I signori "padroni di casa" sono stati ospitali, cortesi e gentilissimi. Torneremo sicuramente a trovarli. Giancarlo e Rosalba. (Excellent)
