The owners concerned themselves with the restoration, maintaining the original characteristics of the structure, but equipping and furnishing it with high standards to make it a welcoming and interesting place in any season. You will be able to have a magnificent trip in Tuscany in one of it's most beautiful areas. At a short distance from us, in addition to the wonderful city of Lucca, is the sea in nearby Versilia. Corte Capitani's rooms are personalized with the names of the animals of a typical rural court: Il Torello (the bull), la Chioccia (the hen), il Tacchino (the turkey), i Conigli (the rabbits), le Anatre (the ducks), and il Cavallo (the horse). Therefore in every room one can find objects and reminders that refer to the room's name. Each room has a a headboard painted with it's animal created by a local artist from Lucca, as a unique piece for Corte Capitani, as well as simple, but brightly colored, tiles with the animal on it. Every detail of Corte Capitani draws from a typical "corte lucchese", with simplicity and sobriety. The colors of the rooms are warm and welcoming, as well as those of even the very colorful bathrooms, which vary between 3 different colors: pink, orange, and green.

Domestic Animals may be admitted upon authorization which relies on the breed and size of the animal. In Corte Capitani's surroundings it is possible to acquire local products such as wine, olive oil, honey, cheeses, etc... In addition to the other rooms, it's possible to rent the apartment "Libeccio" with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a furnished kitchen with a stove, oven, and refrigerator, living room, and the option to host up to 6/8 people. But Corte Capitani has a strategic position to reach all the cities of northern Tuscany: Lucca, Pisa, Massa Carrara, Pistoia, Prato and Florence. Finally, we are close to the town of Pinocchio, Collodi, which is about 15 km away from us.
