Le querciole is a beautiful country house in the heart of chianti, just a few kilometers away from siena, san gimignano and florence. Built in 17th century, it has been meticulously restored to its full glory a couple of years ago. It is the ideal place to spend a couple of days in total relax, stroll around its breathtaking countryside on foot or on bike. Roberta and Valeria will warmly welcome you and will make your stay a pleasant experience. Throughout the house there are common areas, such as the large sitting and living room, comfortably furnished, with an open fireplace and reading area. Each room has been refurbished in typical tuscan style, and each has en-suite bathroom and frigo-bar. The wide garden offers spectacular views of the vineyards valley below; just a short walk from the house, guests can sun-bathe around the 12 m x 6 m pool, idyllically located within the garden area and surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Outside a grassed terrace with tables and barbeque overlooks the swimming area and offers spectacular views of the tuscan landscape. On request we can organise horse riding tours and excursions to the nearby cities. The price includes taxes and breakfast, served in the kitchen.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the ample kitchen from 08:00 till 09:30. You will find freshly baked croissants and bread rolls, butter, jams and honey, tea, coffee, hot and cold milk, fruit juice, corn-flakes and muesli, hams and cheeses and yoghurt. On occasions you may find a home baked gateaux.

Only 5 km away from the B&B you will find a small but very well equipped town, San Donato in Poggio, where you will find restaurants, bars, supermarket and banks. Within 1km from us the beautiful Castello della paneretta; San Gimignano at 12km, Monteiggioni at 8km, Siena at 25km, Florence at 30km. We are in the middle of the Chianti countryside, a car is a must.
