The farm holiday place “Due Ponti” welcomes you to the exquisite Tuscan countryside that stretches along the Sterza Stream where you can relax, enjoy its uncontaminated nature and the spectacular panorama. The building is located in the center of the family-run farmhouse that spreads across 200 hectares of land which grows fields of both wheat and sunflowers and houses the typical Meditterranean trees and underbrush. The antique structure has been restored following the the most classical Tuscan architectural design including the stone facades and rustic furnishings. The four apartments located on the ground floor, Primavera, Estate, Autunno, Inverno, all have private entrance, direct access to the garden, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen, a living room and sitting-room, bathroom, double and twin bedrooms, and all the comforts of home like TV, sat, washing machine and heating. On the 2nd floor we have the new andspacious apartment “La Rocca” which has a well-lit mason-made kitchen, a relaxing sitting-room with TV sat, a large dining-room and three bedrooms each with private bath. In some parts of the year it's also possible to singly rent out the bedroom(s)+bathroom with the Bed&Breakfast service. Also on the 2nd floor we have the new mini-apartment "Il Cipresso", 2 bed spaces with private entrance from external stairway, one bouble bedroom, bathroom with shower, sitting+dining-room area with kitchen corner.

"IL CIPRESSO"2 bed spaces, 50sqm. on the first floor with private entrance from external stairway, one bouble bedroom, bathroom with shower, sitting+dining-room area with kitchen corner, space in the garden.

Services Farm-house

During your stay you go along green-filled paths either on foot or on mountain-bike and admire the crystal clear water of our small yet delightful lake where you can go fishing as well. You'll also be amazed when you see the Medieval Rocca di Pietracassia (antique castle that dominates the entire valley) and you'll get to meet all our animal friends which of course collaborate in our farming activities; pigs, ducks and hens, cats and our fun-loving dogs>Pasquale, Zara and Briciola. Moreover you will be shown the famous breed of cows “Chianina” whose name recalls the re-known Florentine steak! This in fact brings us to note that each apartment has its own gazebo in the spacious and green-filled garden as well as a plastic picnic table and chairs plus a barbecue for you to enjoy. The shared oval-shaped swimming pool is 11,5x5,5 mt. and it is positioned in such a way as to best benefit from the wonderful Tuscan sun!

Surroundings (Chianni)

Our farm is also quite close to other well-knowned art-filled cities like Volterra (30min.), Livorno, Pisa, San Gimignano(50min.), 1-hour from Florence, Siena and Lucca, and 30-min. from the seaside towns (Cecina, Castiglioncello, Etruscan Coast). In only 10 minutes you can also reach Lajatico, the famous tenor Andrea Bocelli 's hometown and admire The Theatre of Silence where every summer an international music and dance performance is held.
