Fattoria di Maiano is an unexpected place, just outside the city of Florence. Located on the hills of Fiesole, it’s an authentic reality with the beauty of the landscape, the resources that nature offers and a surprising historical context, just 10 minutes from the historic center of Florence. Excellent agricultural company for the production of a superb extra virgin olive oil, totally organic, for several years it has been welcoming curious visitors and guests eager to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the countryside without renouncing the visit of the city. Hospitality is offered in rooms and apartments. The pool, with stunning views, is available from May to September. Trekking routes 'on the trail of the stonemasons' who extracted the pietra serena from the quarries of Monte Ceceri; exciting off-road tours or night visits of the forest with the use of front torches; guided tours of our oil mill with tasting of the oil produced on the farm; educational trails for families with children on the animal farm that welcomes donkeys, horses, pigs, ostriches, goats, rabbits, geese and many others. The restaurant, open to the public, conquers our guest with the typical dishes of the Tuscan tradition and the use of products from the farm's organic garden. Built in ancient farmhouses and in the rooms of a cloistered Benedictine nunnery, the apartments offer splendid views of the Borgo's landscapes. All equipped with one or more bathrooms and the kitchen area, they can accommodate from 2 to 11 people, depending on the size. It's up to you to choose between collected patios, beautiful terraces and fine interiors. The rooms, however, are located in the historic Borgo di Maiano and its immediate surroundings.
