The house, big and stern, with a tower from the XII century, is situated on the Ancient Via Francigena (the road to France). In the year 990 B.C. the Canterbury Archbishop SIGERIC was going to Rome and he stopped at the Santa Maria a Chianni Church (Santa Maria Glan), a very beautiful roman church. The road was the big road from Rome to France and North Europe, used by pilgrims. The road passes before our house and continues toward LUIANO, PANCOLE, SAN GIMIGNANO. A river flows befor our house, the Casciano, ancient golden river with its termalwaters and its blowers still actives.We offer hospitality in rooms with bathroom, breakfast included (rooms with weekly bedclothes and bathclothes changes included). The rooms are spacious, cool, typical, cosy and quiet. For our guests, there are big green spaces and since spring 2006, a pool in the green of our field. From our house it is easy to reach some of the most famous art cities in the world, like Firenze, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia, Volterra, San Gimignano, Certaldo, or take a walk along the ancient VIA FRANCIGENA, till Pancole, San Gimignano, Gambassi, Santa Maria a Chianni.
