At La Roverella, the main farmhouse dates back to the fifteenth century, and the apartments are housed within its original annexes. Lo Ziro once served as oil storage, within the large terracotta jars from which it takes its name. Gli Archi was the grain barn: eleven arches along the loggia, facing the brick-paved threshing floor where grain was beaten until 1965. Sole features a living room-kitchen, a double bedroom, and a single bedroom. Bacco overlooks the vineyard. Guests can follow the work of the seasons: pruning, harvest, barrel transfers, olive picking, sowing, and reaping. Wine and oil are produced on the estate and sold directly. Siena is just minutes away, and the surrounding area boasts three UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
