An unspoilt breath in the green Tuscan countryside The heart of La Rugea Le Spighe resort is Villa Alamanni, an ancient and stately residence with a Medicean past, dating back to 1500, set in a large private park of 4,000 square metres, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, between Castelnuovo and Poggio a Caiano, the territory of the former Grand Duchy. Several environments in one, where the open countryside, the architecture and the rooms furnished in period style embrace each other. An oasis of peace, complete with two outdoor swimming pools and an Etruscan-Roman tepidarium, with a heated whirlpool bath and adjoining relaxation area; the atmosphere in these rooms is enlivened with piped music. The Resort also offers guests a fully equipped gym, jogging trails and a holistic massage centre. Stroll through the private park surrounding the Resort or relax in your flat to enjoy the beneficial effects of a bath in the tepidarium, a dip in the pool or a holistic massage. We would like to remind guests that access to the Tepidarium and gym is free of charge, while access to the outdoor pools is subject to a charge. A place where there is no hurry, an oasis of peace where time stands still; here you can afford not to be in a hurry. Conceptually similar to an Albergo Diffuso, La Rugea Le Spighe resort is a unique property complex, composed of three distinct main buildings (the historic villa of La Rugea, Le Spighe and the Scuderie) with their own parking spaces and entrances. Three elegant, typically Tuscan avenues lined with cypress trees lead the visitor to the three buildings of which the resort is composed.

The resort accommodations are apartments located in multiple adjoining buildings, in elegant classic or chic rustic style. Their uniqueness lies in giving the guest the sensation of living in a grand luxury hotel, while at the same time enjoying the advantages and intimacy of a second home. They are divided into 6 types: Deluxe, Superior, King and Luxury Suites and Deluxe, Superior and Standard Apartments. They have separate entrances and parking based on the building in which they are located. The range of services offered meets the needs of a heterogeneous clientele, both tourist and business. The facility does not have catering but accommodations with a kitchen are equipped with dishes, refrigerator with freezer and utensils to be able to cook comfortably independently, without time constraints (and if you are tired... delivery services are available).
