It all began in 1998 when, one day, we fell in love with this magnificent place and decided to start producing our own wine. We thus chose to clear the fields after years of neglect and, little by little, our first Sangiovese vineyard came to life, from which we obtain our signature black label, Poggiolato. Ours is a small family business and we take care of everything from the vineyard to the cellar. Our wine production is limited, which allows us to give value and maximum attention to manual work in every phase of product creation to preserve the nature and quality of our grapes. The greatest satisfaction in a land full of vineyards like Tuscany is seeing satisfied people who return to us and our products. The objective of Poggiolato has always been to produce healthy wine, respecting the balance with nature, which is very important to us. Among the most beautiful choices we have made in our lives is certainly Poggiolato.
We are winemakers and we cultivate our land with deep love and we are happy to host those who want to live in contact with nature.
