The farmstead sits on the left bank of the Tiber River, approximately 400 meters above sea level, just a few kilometers from Amelia, on the border between Umbria and Lazio. Its name recalls the Ràcani Counts, a noble Umbrian family. The walls are exposed stone, with views overlooking the valley. Open year-round for weekends or longer stays, it welcomes both families and groups of friends.
Accommodations are divided into three units — I Cipressi, Il Granaio, and La Stalla — of varying sizes. Each features an equipped kitchenette, living area, bathroom with shower, and free Wi-Fi; some have fireplaces, and all include a balcony or patio with private outdoor space. Guests staying longer will find a washing machine and wardrobe.
Outside there is a garden with a panoramic swimming pool and children's paddling pool, fenced for safety, plus a play area. Bicycles are complimentary, as is access to the barbecue and picnic area and a small gym. In the surrounding area, you can go horseback riding or walk through the woods encircling the farmstead.
The in-house restaurant serves Umbrian dishes featuring the farm's extra virgin olive oil and preserves, brought to your table even at breakfast. The same farm also works with hazelnuts: producing hazelnut flour and nocciòlio, used both in cooking and skincare, plus a bamboo-infused oil.
Amelia is just minutes away, with historic villages, Etruscan sites, and natural parks to explore in the area.
