On the first slopes of Mount Bertiaga, at the edge of the beech and fir forest, a few kilometres from Asiago, stands a malga of centuries-old origins, covering an area of 6.33 hectares. During the tormented war of 1915-1918, it housed heavy artillery positions in its depressions, in the service of which barracks were placed to house men and materials. Hence the name 'le casarette' to the area and the origin of the name of the malga and now of the agritourism business in this small valley of Campomezzavia. The tourist activity takes place in the renovated old malga in which there are 4 en-suite rooms, modernly equipped, elegantly furnished with arte povera style furniture, exposed beams and a magical view of the woods; en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle and washbasin in pink Asiago marble. Equipped with hairdryer and television with decoder. Restaurant with 40 seats with relative kitchen, pantry and services The farming activity is developed in two areas - at the malga where it is mainly developed with the breeding of beef cattle, sheep, rabbits and some agricultural products such as potatoes and some vegetables; - at an area further down the valley, where the animals are housed in the winter season, other vegetables are produced.
