Agriturismo Il Timo was born from the owners' idea of preserving and enhancing family farming traditions. Our family, through our parents, has always been dedicated to cultivation and breeding. After years of experience, these traditions are now being passed on to younger people. We young people, accustomed to modernity, to the 'speed' of a different era, to new technologies, with a background of education and work experience on large farms, are now also recovering those traditions from which - in some ways - we had drifted away. Our agritourism is set in an evocative natural setting, where it is still possible to hear the noises of the farms, where deer can be spotted walking at dusk, and where it is not difficult to encounter wild boars and foxes, which are the true masters of these reserve areas. We are in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle, with clean air. Near our farmhouse there are several farms that will be happy to let you taste their freshly milked milk, or the eggs just taken from the chickens, and then... the owners will delight you with their surprise gifts: freshly baked cakes, to be enjoyed with homemade jams, honey... On our farm you will find several guest flats, spacious and equipped with every comfort. Each flat is on the ground floor, has an area of 50 square metres and can accommodate 2-6 people. It has a spacious outdoor veranda with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The pleasant interiors are all rustic, with furniture and walls where wood stands out in every corner. This was our choice, a totally wooden structure that is simple and cosy. In cowntry style, we serve our customers the typical flavours of Abruzzo and the genuineness of our products in a relaxed setting suitable for even the most demanding customers. In summer it is very pleasant to sit in the open air and enjoy a splendid view of the surrounding mountains and countryside. All the recipes in our restaurant are taken from the most ancient traditions of Abruzzo cuisine, handed down from generation to generation, from mother to daughter, and are prepared with home-grown fruit and vegetables and meat from our own farms, bringing to the table all the scents of our mountains. Our Agriturismo is equipped with pitches for campers and caravans and the restaurant is available to our guests at special prices. During your stay you can book a tasty breakfast with our products.
