You will find us in the Majella National Park, at an altitude of 700 metres and about 3 kilometres from Roccamorice, an ancient stone village built on a rocky ridge and protected all around by picturesque canyons. The agritourism consists of two cottages in white Majella stone, dating back to the early 20th century. From their renovation we have obtained 7 rooms, a refreshment area overlooking a large porch and a relaxation room. The rooms are pretty and comfortable and almost all of them enjoy a wonderful view of the Majella and Morrone mountains. Very refined and well-furnished are the dining rooms, with their characteristic hand-carved stone barrel vaults. The farmhouse is surrounded by green meadows, mountains and woods. Swings, a table tennis area, a garden and a small library are at your disposal. The entire farm is enveloped in an enchanted atmosphere: from your walks, a unique and indelible memory for all of you will be the intense perfume of the unspoilt meadows, rich in wild herbs (oregano, mint, lemon balm, thyme, sage, etc.) and the spectacular view of flowers and magnificent colourful butterflies. The agritourism is an ideal base for those of you who love the beauty of nature, for trekking, walking, free and guided excursions, skiing, visits to areas of natural interest, spas, free climbing with the Bear Wall, for places of historical interest, such as the Celestine hermitages of S. Spirito and S. Bartolomeo, S. Angelo, S. Giovanni, and also for the sea that can be reached in just over half an hour. The farm has organic certification and covers over 10 hectares, cultivated mainly with spelt, Solina wheat, lentils and chickpeas, with an orchard of ancient native varieties. Goats and sheep are reared, from which excellent dairy products are made. Spelt pasta, Solina wheat pasta, spelt flour, Solina flour, Solina biscuits, spelt grains, spelt polenta, pecorino cream, goat cheese and ricotta, bread, jams and preserves are sold. Tholos has been selected for the 'Quality of Extensive Animal Husbandry' project and the 'Project for the Recovery Conservation and Enhancement of Native Agricultural Genetic Resources' launched by the Maiella National Park.
