To experience nature and share special moments, the Bassara farmhouse offers its huts, real mini-apartments, recently rebuilt to replace the pre-existing ones, entirely made of cane.
All cabins, tastefully furnished, have a cozy double bedroom, bathroom with shower and fitted kitchen area, fireplace and wood stove. Renting a cottage there is a chance to greet your friends and family, cooking for them and Magyar together, even in winter.

For centuries, the Bassara agriturismo has produced and traded marsh plants such as Reed, Sedge, Rush, and Cattail. As a testament to this tradition, the agriturismo has recently resumed the harvesting and sale of marsh reed.
In35 minutes by car you may reach the center of Ravenna and Ferrara, in 50 minutes, Bologna. In less than 500 m. you may visit the park of the Pieve di San Giorgio (569 AD), the oldest monument in the province of Ferrara and the Museo della Bonifica, an example of industrial archeology, set on a work site, wich describes the swamp drainage campaigns to the right of the Reno River by the Consorzio della Bonifica Renana. Less than 4 km away, towards Campotto, there is the Ecomuseo of Argenta, a true access to all the station of the Parco del Delta del Po of Campotto. Next i sthe oasis of he Valle Santa, a damp fresh water area where yuo may admire acquatic plants and animals as well as savor dilicacies of local cooking.
