Paolo Rota's farm has been organic since 1990, located in the agri-environmental park of the Rodano, at the gates of Reggio Emilia. They grow vegetables and tend a vineyard following time-honored farming traditions. The farmhouse has been lovingly restored while preserving its authentic character: hemp hand-woven linens, mended armchairs, grandmother's dishes, embroidered linens brought out from old trunks. The rooms reflect the five elements through their color scheme—fire, earth, water, air and ether—designed for those seeking silence and rest, including brief work retreats. Breakfast features homemade flours and sourdough starter, accompanied by jams made on-site. The structure is conceived for a discerning clientele, sensitive to beauty and quality.
