The farm, owned by the Codelli family since the beginning of the 18th century, consists of 50 hectares, with 20% of the area wooded with locust and beech trees. The main part of the property, with an area of 30 hectares, extends along the hilly area that includes the Vallisella hills visible, for those coming from Udine, to the left of the state road. Approximately 13 hectares are planted with vines. The centre of the property consists of Villa Codelli, with its adjoining church and park, an original complex dating back to the end of the 16th century, and other rural buildings currently dedicated to hospitality and catering. In the green hills of Collio it is possible to spend relaxing days in contact with nature, a walk in the hills or in our prized vineyards. A bicycle ride thanks to the extensive network of cycle paths will always be a discovery and new landscapes will open up behind every bend and at the top of every hill. The sea at Sistiana or Grado is not far away. The Central European charm of Trieste is an hour's drive away. And when you return, a dip in our swimming pool will cool you down even on the hottest summer days. We offer 5 double rooms in La Castaldia and a flat with 6 beds, La Casalotta. Since 1981, the Codelli winery has opened a wine bar initially and then also a restaurant in a farmhouse not far from the villa. The warm atmosphere inside will accompany you on winter days and the ancient stoves and a glass of our wine will certainly warm the atmosphere. In fine weather, tables outside await you for lunches, dinners or even just a snack surrounded by the greenery of the garden and in the shade of the trees that frame the villa.
