Imagine an ancient Village immersed in the countryside, situated in the finest of locations. You will find yourselves again in this wonderful property. A dwelling, carefully restored, right on top of a hill surrounded by vineyards, olive groves that, with their silvery green, cloak the gentle hills of Sabina, an ancient and unspoiled land, fruit trees and well-cultivated fields of maize and wheat, an ideal setting for walks in the countryside. The owners wanted this place to be an authentic Umbrian-Lazio country house. In the old stable, skilfully restored, one can taste fresh ricotta cheeses, pecorino cheeses, cured meats, honey, jams, tarts and small pastries… all strictly homemade. Also not to be missed is the tasting of the many dishes based on vegetables, pulses, cheeses, meats, cured meats, not forgetting handmade pasta, all accompanied by their own home-produced wine. The ancient peasant tradition remains, in fact, alive in the fields and vegetable gardens cultivated for family production, which season after season still offer genuine products, to be transformed into the tasty dishes of a rustic and strongly characterful cuisine. The location of Magliano Sabina, favoured by the proximity of fast and convenient transport routes, allows, within a radius of 60-70 km, the reaching of renowned tourist destinations such as Rome, Viterbo, Orvieto, Spoleto, Narni and Todi, but also quiet, sometimes forgotten, characteristic inland villages such as Calvi dell'Umbria, Otricoli, Montebuono, Tarano, Fianello and Collevecchio.
