In Upper Latium, on the borders with Tuscany and Umbria, the Agriturismo Poggio di Montedoro stands on a beautiful knoll of the octagonal church of the same name, designed by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger, which characterises this locality on the outskirts of Montefiascone, close to the ancient Via Francigena. The five farmhouses, restored according to tradition, stand in a unique panoramic position overlooking Lake Bolsena, Montefiascone and the surrounding area that sweeps as far as a glimpse of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The farmhouses, of different sizes, are used to accommodate one or more flats; in total, the farm has 10 flats and 40 beds. All the flats are finely furnished both in terms of the restoration materials, with exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors, and in terms of the arte povera furnishings
Our apartments are located on the Poggio di Montedoro, near the distinctive octagonal church of Montedoro, designed by Antonio da Sangallo il Giovane, which characterizes this locality at the gates of Montefiascone.
