Hi! We are Chiara and Marco, we moved from Rome to the Tuscia countryside 24 years ago to restore an old abandoned house and transform it into an organic farm with a charming bed & breakfast. We cultivate our land and breed animals with respect. We have 3 daughters, are curious and welcoming people.
Agriturismo bed & breakfast Pulicaro An ancient farmhouse with a story to tell. A symbiotic farm in harmony with the environment. An enchanting countryside nestled between Lake Bolsena and San Casciano thermal springs. A venue of memories and untouched nature where the Tuscan hills spill into Umbria’s center. The couple’s dream, to preserve this piece of history by enhancing earth’s organic landscape. Pulicaro’s bed and breakfast consists of four double rooms, (one double or two twin beds) with private bathrooms and independent access; and six self-catering apartments with private bathrooms and kitchenettes, all of which open directly to a common area or outside.
To ensure you get a good night’s sleep, every bed has a frame with horizontal wooden slats for support and a comfortable ergonomic mattress.
Each accommodation has its own heating system.
Towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer are provided in each bathroom.
Pulicaro is a farmhouse, far from the noise of the city but close to the notable sites of the region of Tuscany and Umbria, like Orvieto, Lake Bolsena, Civita di Bagnoregio, Acquapendente, Todi, Assisi, Pienza, Siena and the Val d'Orcia, the thermal baths of San Casciano dei Bagni, San Filippo, Viterbo and Saturnia, and even the splendid natural reserve Monte Rufeno.
In the summer, guests can prepare delicious organic meals from fresh vegetables they can pick straight from our garden. Furthermore Marco will show you and your children our animals farm!
If you decide to visit, breathe and live this amazing experience, Marco and Chiara will be very happy to welcome you!!

Our cuisine, simple and made with authentic ingredients, stems from the desire to bring to the table – and to tell – the story of our work in the fields, the seasons, and our land.
In our dishes, you will find only genuine, wholesome, and flavorful ingredients, grown and raised sustainably, cooked with simplicity and passion. The meat comes exclusively from our own farm, where the animals live outdoors, free to graze in the fields and woods of our property. All other ingredients, if not self-produced, come from farms that share our approach to regenerative, sustainable, and respectful agriculture.
You will always find an authentic, yet ever-changing, daily proposal, based on what the countryside offers us, day by day. You will rediscover flavors that have become rare, lost in the standardization of industrial production.
Our farmhouse breakfast is served at the table. Everything we offer is either lovingly prepared by us or produced on our farm, like our delicious eggs! Everything we don’t produce ourselves is carefully selected and comes from friendly farms that we proudly support because they share our philosophy. In our lounge, you will find a small shop where, if you wish, you can purchase the jams, juices, and cereals that you will enjoy during your breakfast.
The Pulicaro farmhouse is ideally located at the center of an area rich in historical, artistic, and cultural heritage of exceptional value.
