The property preserves a simple soul. It offers bright rooms that enjoy an excellent panoramic position. Agriturismo La Ripa, nestled in the green hills about 1 h from Rome, offers a peaceful oasis of 65 hectares, a place where the beauty of nature is intact, close to the 14th century Franciscan sanctuary of S. Maria delle Grazie. There are 9 double and quadruple bedrooms with bunk beds, each with bathroom. There is also a seasonal swimming pool, a pine forest, a five-a-side football pitch, a restaurant (reservation required) and spacious indoor rooms. A smaller room with TV and air conditioning is also available to guests.

You can visit the nearby villages, such as Nerola with its Orsini castle, Ponticelli and Scandriglia, while a little further afield you'll find Orvinio, Lake Turano and Farfa Abbey. Just a few kilometres away lies the Monti Lucretili Regional Nature Park, which offers excellent opportunities for trekking and hiking along numerous trails. Our farmhouse sits on one of the stages of the Way of Saint Francis and welcomes many walkers and pilgrims, who find in this setting a pleasant refuge and wonderful refreshment. Just 1.5 km away stands the Sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie, a Franciscan complex devoted to the Marian cult and built in 1478 under the orders of the Orsini family.

Recommends this property L'agriturismo la Ripa e' un oasi di pace, lontano dal caos dei soliti circuiti intorno a Roma, abbiamo passato una Pasquetta 25 indimenticabile, segnata inevitabilmente dalla scomparsa di papa Francesco, ancor piu' significativo che ci trovassimo proprio sulla via di Francesco, molto bello il santuario di Santa Maria delle Grazie , a poca distanza. Torneremo sicuramente!
