At 700 meters altitude, with Corna Blacca framed by the windows, the Colombo family runs this agritourism in their 18th-century family home, complete with exposed wooden beams. Five rooms flooded with light streaming straight from the mountains. Lake Idro, Lake Ledro and Lake Garda are all within easy reach.
The farm raises Galloway cattle and cultivates the land that has belonged to the Colombo family for generations; this is where ricotta di malga, garden vegetables, meat and local trout come from, all featured in the set menus served at dinner—one changing with each season. At Easter, for example, Bionda dell'Adamello kid goat with polenta di Storo, or foiade mushroom pasta with porcini mushrooms and malga butter.
Cell phone reception in the valley is spotty: calls can easily be missed. For those who need it, however, there is WiFi available via satellite connection.
