Corte Merina is a family farm located inside the Val Grande National Park (the Wilderness of the Alps), in the north-east area of Piedmont, 800 meters altitude and 15 km from Lake Maggiore. We receive you in a rustic and simple environment: lush nature, clean air, organic food produced in the farm, a rural reality in a small mountain village. Is an ideal destination for hikers and lovers of tranquility. Corte Merina is located in a little mountain pasture near the village of Cicogna, the small capital of the Park. The farmhouse and agricamping can only be reached by foot, 5 minutes from the driveway. The restaurant offers food with our products: raw milk, fresh and seasoned goat cheese, salami, hot dishes with polenta and goat or pig meat of our breeding. Eggs and vegetables products on ours garden are used as ingredients based on seasonal availability. Drinking water from the source of the mountain. The possibilities of overnight stay in our farmhouse are in the campsite or in a small independent house. Both accommodation are available for short overnight stays or for prolonged holidays. There is also possibility of having the breakfast and half board service

The ROOMS: one double bed and one twin bed are on the first floor of the agritourism house, with independent entrance and balcony overlooking the valley, the bathrooms directly below are separated for men/women and shared with the small agricultural camping. Available to guests is also a covered space with kitchenette/dishwashing area and tables. The AGRICULTURAL CAMPING: in front of the agritourism house has equipped pitches for small tents with the possibility of electrical connection or the possibility of renting two-person Glamping tents with beds and linens. The MOUNTAIN HUT: located in a small alpine pasture, just above the agritourism house is independent, with double bedroom, private bathroom and small loft with two children's beds, equipped kitchen, wood stove, outdoor space with table and umbrella.

Val Grande is a rugged and untamed territory nestled between the Val d'Ossola and the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore. Today it has become a celebrated tourist destination, thanks to the establishment of the homonymous National Park, which encompasses Italy's and the Alps' largest wilderness area. This is lush nature at its finest, perfect for venturing out on excursions and trekking. The trails are plentiful—you can tackle the more challenging routes with a local guide, or take leisurely walks along historic and cultural paths through the charming villages that surround the park, discovering the region's rich history and traditions. Lake Maggiore is another must-visit destination, just 30 minutes by car from Cicogna, with its most famous tourist centres: Stresa, Verbania, the Pallanza waterfront, and Cannobio. Don't miss Isola Bella and Isola Madre either, with their magnificent villas and stunning flowering gardens.
