The farmhouse Ciambun is located in the Varaita Valley at an altitude of 850 m above sea level, surrounded by green meadows and woods. The name Ciambun, in the local dialect 'good field' is the place where our ancestors carried out their farming activities, earning a living for the whole year. Ciambun continues to live on in a new guise: meadows, pastures, vegetables, farmyard animals, the breeding of the black Merens horse suitable for mountain riding, and the raising of a few cattle, are the agricultural activities that are integrated with tourism and give life to the Ciambun farm. Surrounded by greenery, it is ideal for a peaceful stay. There are numerous itineraries of varying difficulty for comfortable walks, cycling and mountain biking. In the winter season, snow enthusiasts can make numerous ski touring or snowshoeing trips of varying difficulty. Nearby, there is a chairlift for medium-difficulty downhill skiing and several cross-country skiing trails. CIAMBUN, in the local dialect CAMPO BUONO, is the place where my ancestors carried out their agricultural activity, making a living all year round. The farm offers: catering, hospitality in cosy rooms with bathroom walks, lessons, multi-day excursions on horseback educational visits for schools with horse trails that lead to the knowledge of new places and traditions.
