The Marchesi Alfieri Estate is a historical winery settled in the baroque Castle of San Martino Alfieri, amongst the hills between Asti and Alba. The Barbera d'Asti wine is jewel of the production. Two building, close to the castle, the first one in the park, the second near the cellars, have been recently restored to welcome enthusiastic wine tourists. During the stay, it's possible to visit the park of the castle, the Orangerie, the ancient cellars and taste the red wines produced by the Marchesi Alfieri Estate.
Close to the castle, in the courtyard of the winery, there are two apartments furnish with antique and a third one with 3 double rooms recently restored. In the park of the castle is setteld a Cascina with private garden, kitchen and veranda perfect for families or small groups of 8 persons.
