Located along a drove road that connects to the Palombaio-Mariotto provincial road, about 2 km from Palombaio, the farmhouse, enclosed within the perimeter wall, maintains the original layout of an agricultural production complex and fortification. Immersed in the quiet of the countryside populated with olive groves and vineyards, a short distance from the sea, the Agriturismo offers its guests the benefit of silence, tranquility and vacation in nature. The oldest part of the structure dates back to the late sixteenth century, later expanded in the nineteenth century, the Donna Nora agriturismo has the typical form of fortified farmhouses, with the Tower, the owner's quarters, rooms intended for agricultural activity and stables, later transformed into guest lodges. With a dedicated hall and ample outdoor space, it can also host meetings, book presentations, courses, and events.
Agriturismo Donna Nora is situated in the Alta Murgia region of Puglia, an area partly protected by its namesake national park and distinguished by a rich and varied landscape dotted with olive groves, caves, sanctuaries, ancient rock dwellings and charming villages.
