At the gates of the Alta Murgia National Park, in Cassano delle Murge, the Agriturismo Ciriè restaurant brings fresh burrata and treccia to the table, seasonal vegetables, Coratina oil and Altamura DOP bread. Among the first courses, orecchiette alle cime di rapa and cavatelli al ragù murgiano. Grilled specialties include bombette, salsiccia punta di coltello, and carefully selected cuts of meat. In season, roasted lamb arrives with potatoes and lampascioni. For dessert, sporcamuss and tarts with artisanal jams; at Christmas, cartellate al vincotto. The wine cellar offers Primitivo di Gioia del Colle DOC, Nero di Troia and Puglian rosés. The dining rooms are made of stone, with a veranda overlooking the olive grove: here we organize Sunday lunches, romantic dinners and intimate ceremonies.
