The farm “The Matinelle” built in 1945 to address olive-cereal-livestock, with the passing years, has pursued the goal of reduction of plant protection products in accordance with EEC Regulation.2078/92 The restoration of the structure was carried out by combining the comfort with the techniques of restoration of the typical rural house in Matera. Former stables have been made 17 beds without substantially altering the existing structure. The furniture is made with rustic furniture, favoring local crafts. The whole structure is fully usable by people with disabilities. In the Project for a small catering service account must be taken of agricultural production. The company produces the necessary with crops aimed at the promotion of local products. The products are not available at the company are procured from local producers with characteristics of quality and typicality. The composition of the menu is structured according to traditional recipes and local custom. The products displayed are for sale. The location of our company, a short distance from the most important archaeological sites – environments of the Park of the Rock Churches of Matera( UNESCO Heritage ), allows the visitor to visit the city of the Sassi of Matera with its monumental historical importance recognized, the Murgia plateau and the countless beauties offered by agricultural landscape Lucan, rich in historical and artistic and cultural events.
