Agriturismo Tenuta del Morige is the starting point for countless excursions, for relaxing days by the sea, for trips out of town to discover the many villages of the Salento for a full immersion holiday amidst history, culture and food and wine delicacies. The agriturismo Tenuta del Morige derives its name from the ancient Doric word Mùs, meaning stone, which evolved into the current Mórige. The whole area is characterised by the presence of stones of all sizes, dry-stone walls, original trulli, as well as the typical flora of the Mediterranean maquis: all this gives the landscape a particularly pleasant appearance. The farm has been owned by the De Magistris family since 1899 and included several hundred hectares of Mediterranean maquis and the Masseria del Morige. The main nucleus of the Masseria was the watchtower dating back to 1500, which still exists today and is of considerable historical and architectural importance... The structure is divided into two levels. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with bathroom and a flat with two bedrooms, living room, kitchenette and bathroom specially designed to accommodate people with disabilities. The property also has a lift to facilitate access to the 1st floor and to the terrace from which you can enjoy a splendid 360° view. (view floor plan) On the first floor, on the other hand, there are three double rooms with bathroom and a small balcony with a panoramic view over the olive grove. All accommodation is equipped with: Bathroom with shower, Air conditioning hot/cold, TV, Internet WI-FI, Frigo-bar.
