Masseria ChiccoRizzo is an 18th-century structure also used as a resting station, built in the full architectural style of the masserie in Lecce. Crossed by a cart track, the estate connected two old roads coming from the Adriatic coast (Roca Vecchia and Otranto), which made their way, passing through small villages of the Grecia Salentina and the South Salento, towards Gallipoli and Lecce. Having survived time and the seasons, ChiccoRizzo has kept intact the charm of its architectural simplicity, in harmony with the rural landscape that surrounds it. The comfortable swimming pool, the natural cuisine and its organic products, as well as the trekking routes and the well-stocked library available to guests, allow for moments of authentic relaxation and, for the most avid, relaxing moments of reading, perhaps in the shade of a centuries-old olive tree. The restoration of the Masseria still allows visitors today to admire the finest craftsmanship of the carparina tuff stone vaults, almost intact, which arch over the load-bearing structures of Lecce stone and faithfully reproduce the architectural scheme that characterizes the masserie in Lecce.
