VALLE DI CHIARAMONTE is the ideal place for those who love farm holidays. The structure's location allows easy access to the tourist centres of the province of Ragusa: Ragusa Ibla (UNESCO heritage site), Marina di RAGUSA (seaside resort), Chiaramonte Gulfi (city of museums). Moreover, the facility is only 2 km from the suggestive Gulfi Sanctuary (place of pilgrimage for many believers). The agritourism VALLE DI CHIARAMONTE rises on the remains of an ancient 19th-century farmhouse immersed in the Chiaramonte countryside in the province of Ragusa. The old farmhouse consisted of workers' quarters, stables, and warehouses. Entering the gate of the estate on the SP6 road, the front façade of the structure is clearly visible and can be reached by crossing about 300 m of 'VANEDDA' (ancient country road). The front façade of the structure is interrupted by the portico that allows entry into the 'BAGLIO' (inner courtyard). The baglio was originally surrounded by the dwelling house, the 'CASA ABITARA' (room used for processing milk) and the warehouses used to store seeds and olive oil. Today, in this part of the structure there are some nice and comfortable lodgings. To the side of the main building is a small dining room, which used to be a stable, equipped with a bar corner where farm and local specialities are served, including cheeses, ricotta, fresh pasta, cold cuts and farm meat. What was once 'U IARZU' (a place where animals used to be sheltered at night) has been converted into a garden with a green lawn and a small stable with two cute little goats.
All rooms have a private bathroom and a view of the 4-hectare garden of the property. The suites feature a cozy fireplace and a dining area. The furniture is partly represented by period furniture that belonged to grandparents and enriched with the addition of pieces in style "poor art".
