Description Silva Suri

Silva Suri was built on the foundations of an old 19th-century farmhouse; the warehouses, stables and masseurs' dwellings have been adapted into cosy and comfortable flats capable of accommodating even the most demanding guests. The buildings have been renovated without changing the original architecture and style. The result is an atmosphere of sober, ancient simplicity. The property is located 5 minutes away from Marina di Ragusa, a renowned seaside resort in south-eastern Sicily, also home to a brand new marina, and 20 minutes away from Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, and Modica, pearls of Baroque Sicily and UNESCO heritage sites.

The owner's vision and investment in this renovated series of buildings are extensive and the welcome of the staff wonderful. The food was pleasant and its service immaculate. though the dining room could be screened for end of season numbers to be more intimate. The pool area was clean and promises a wonderful garden soon. The scent of the flowers at night was heavenly.
