Nestling among the leafy carob trees and drystone walls of the Modican countryside is "Nacalino Agriturismo ", a typical nineteenth century farmhouse which has recently been restored. The sea and the archaeological site of the Cava d 'Ispica are just a few kilometres away. If you are looking for tranquillity and would enjoy nature excursions in the unspoiled Hyblean Plateau along with trips to the sea and to the Baroque cities of Modica, Scicli, Ragusa Ibla and Noto, this is the destination for you. To live in Nacalino means to enjoy the pleasures, the fragrances and the flavours of Sicily as long as you wish. Ideal place for a holiday that will help the visitor rediscover the warmth of the family welcome that is offered will bring you closer to such a rural lifestyle. The farm has an area of 44 hectares which have been divided into different units where arable crops, carobs, olives and seasonal vegetables are grown using organic methods. We use these products to prepare and sell tempting preserves, salted tomatoes and tomato conserves. The main part of this Modican farmhouse dates back to the eighteenth century and its extensions to the mid-nineteenth century. Having been restored using traditional materials and building methods, the farmhouse is the ideal base from which to go on nature excursions and to visit the Baroque cities of Modica, Scicli, Ragusa Ibla and Noto. The most beautiful beaches of the Hyblean coast are only a few minutes away. The farmhouse offers standard bedrooms, family rooms and one suite. The outside is well equipped with tables, chairs, a children 's play area, a pool with a solarium and ample green spaces. All bedrooms are air conditioned, have en suite bathrooms and are tastefully furnished. All have televisions.
