The agriturismo spans 35 hectares in the Hyblaean countryside of Palazzolo Acreide, between contrada Fondi Vecchi and contrada Famelio, just a few kilometers from Syracuse. Pomegranates, olives and walnuts surround the rooms, furnished with the colors of the Sicilian countryside. Breakfast brings to the table homemade pastries, organic jams, local cured meats and cheeses, pomegranate juice from the orchard and freshly picked seasonal fruit.
Energy comes from solar and thermal panels on the roof. There is a swimming pool with a hot tub. The property also has an educational section: an outdoor space where lessons and tastings of typical products are organized. Dinners follow Sicilian tradition, featuring products from the farm. Giulia and I are always present, without intruding on our guests' spaces.
