Description La Rocca Della Rosa
On a surface of nearly 5 hectares, between the green hills of Mount Etna, there is the farm “La Rocca della Rosa”. It rises on the fresh and delicate countryside of Zafferana Etnea, with the sea to its feet and the majestic Etna behind. The place, suitable for lovers of nature, responds to several wishes: pure air and light, rest and quiet, please feel free and real, discovery of unknown cultural treasures, need of evasion and fun. The farm, boin a strategic position on the Etna volcano slopes at a few kilometres from Taormina, in a country of distinguished traditions, where the viceroy usually spent their time, offers a stay in apartment blocks of ancient and noble architecture.

The old cellar has been converted into a restaurant where you can taste the dishes of Sicilian tradition ranging from simple and flavorful charcoal cooking to the complex and refined recipes of the "Monsù". All the courses on our menus are entirely homemade on the spot with genuine and highest quality products such as the extra virgin oil from our olive trees. Lunch includes everything: appetizers, various first courses, grilled meats and various second courses, fresh fruit and various desserts, coffee, digestive liqueur, wine from Etna, mineral water. The restaurant is active every day by reservation, and it is also possible to arrange specific themed menus for special occasions and events. The price of lunch is €35 per person.

Splendida residenza di campagna ristrutturata con gusto e attenzione ai particolari. Circondata da un giardino di piante da frutto e con la vista dell'Etna in lontananza...ottima la cucina e le attenzioni della titolare!

We spent seven days at this agriturismo over Christmas and the New Year and had a wonderful time. We had fantastic views of Mount Etna and easy access to it. The residence is very peaceful. The Matarazzo family made us very welcome. The meals were excellent (tasty and plentiful food). We heartily recommend it. The Camilleri Families (Malta)

Un'antica residenza nobiliare interamente ristrutturata, dove si respira l'atmosfera della signorile ospitalita' siciliana d'altri tempi.Ottima e varia la cucina, che propone i piatti della antica tradizione del posto, con ingredienti di elevata qualità. Molto suggestive le camere, differenti l'una dall'altra, e tutte arredate con mobili d'epoca. Molto suggestivo il giardino, ricco di profumi siciliani, splendida la vista.

Just wanted to let you know that it was absolutely great and the caretaker Paulo Kosta was very friendly and helpful. It was great to have a personal touch to the stay. The rooms were very authentic and was very cozy.
