“terzo di danciano” is a tuscan villa with truly rare architectural features and views. The villa is divided into 5 rooms. The restoration has used a “conservationist” approach respecting the original structure. The apartments and central stairwell have been renovated preserving the original plasterwork with all the decorations and colours typical of a late 18th century villa. The atmosphere is rather magical. The original stuccoed walls of the stairwell have been decorated with drawings in pencil and siena charcoal inspired by renaissance anatomical studies. As you climb the stairs you’ll be taken through a visual journey inside the human body, from the legs to the head. The refined but informal atmosphere has been achieved through the owner’s ability to match mode features within a rural setting. The result is a place outside time, sober but not austere, a place which is lovely to see and to experience.
