I'm a sporty and nature loving person, I like tranquility and outdoor activities in general. I also like mountain (skiing, ice and rock climbing, trekking) as well as mountain biking and running. During my free time, when I do not do sports, I take care of my vegetable garden and of my cottage's garden in Cortona. I like good food and good wine, I cook the products of my garden and herbs and mushrooms that I collect in the country.
WELCOME TO “CASALE IL GRANAIO” A magic place in the heart of Valdichiana… In the heart of Valdichiana, bordering on Umbria, a few km from Trasimeno lake and in the middle between the cities of Arezzo and Perugia, from here is easy also to reach Montepulciano, Siena, Pienza, Rapolano and Spoleto. The cottage is in a evocative hamlet in the countryside, consisting of 4 houses originally intended to be the villa, the sharecropper’s house, the stable and the granary; nearby there are the farmland and graceful old church still consecrated. I’m sure you to be at your ease in our homely atmosphere, of ancient and simple tastes.
The two apartments are located at ground floor of a two floors’ cottage, dating back to the end of 1800 and completely renovated. A Two-level apartment is perfect to accommodate up to 6 guests. The former Tave of the property is nowadays a studio-flat offering exposed-beam ceilings and wooden furnishings, suitable for a couple. In both cases, guests can enjoy the garden and the park below in a full and complete relax. In renovating we respected environmental and landscape bindings, never forgetting Tuscan cottages’ tradition and typology; everything was scrupulously taken care: the plan, material choice and reclamation, external arrangement and interior decoration. We gave priority to sobriety, functionality and neatness, and care to details and particulars.
