By preserving and restoring its centuries-old architecture, we have turned the former ‘count's brickworks’ into the centrepiece of our agriturismo. 5 apartments in two historic buildings, a large garden, sunny terraces, shady courtyards, a cosy pergola for moments of peace and quiet and our saltwater pool with a large wooden terrace and a view over our vineyard to Montepulciano and, on a clear day, to Monte Generoso, invite you to linger. The day begins with a varied and generous breakfast from the buffet with regional specialities and homemade snacks in our historic guest room. It ends with a glass of our organic red wine in one of the many retreats on our estate. The ‘Fornace Del Conte’ is located right in the heart of Tuscany: Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, Arezzo, Assissi, Cortona, Peruggia, Orvieto and numerous other picturesque towns are in the immediate vicinity. Many of our guests bring their own bikes or hire e-bikes and experience the magic of the countryside off the beaten track even more intensely. Travelling to us is easy and convenient, whether by plane (Pisa, Florence, Rome), by car (A1 Florence - Rome, exit Valdichiana/Bettole), or by train (the Montepulciano Stazione train station is 5 minutes away, Terontola is 20 minutes away). In the village (approx. 1km) there is a well-stocked supermarket, a pharmacy, a bar, a brewery with a restaurant and a pizzeria, a few kilometres away you will find countless restaurants in every price range.
