Poggiopiano farm lies only 7 kms to the east florence yet fully immersed in the greenery of the hills overlooking the arno valley, amidst olive-groves and vineyards facing the sun. The apartments and the rooms, all with bathroom , are located in a typical tuscan farmhouse , with private panoramic swimming pool ( 16 mtrs x 7,50 mtrs) , respecting the local architecture. All the rooms have central heating and some have an open fire. Comfotable, in harmony with the landscape, ideal for guests seeking a relaxing holiday, yet very near to all that a city of art like florence can offer. Sport and nature lovers can enjoy country walks or bike or horseback riding ( riding track at 9 kms away). The national park of casentino is only 30 minutes drive away. Florence and fiesole are both 7 kms away, siena, arezzo, lucca are reached in 45 minutes by car. In the village of girone, 900 metres from the farm, the local bus for the centre of florence leaves approximately every 15 minutes. Free parking around the farm and in the square of the village , close the terminal of the bus. Our product from organic agricolture : wine, extravirgin olive oil and grappa.
