Description Terrascura

Family-run organic agriturismo located in Northe Tuscany, in a scenic area, ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding enthusiasts. The agriturismo is located at the foot of Pizzo d’Uccello between the Apuan Alps, the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park and the Cinque Terre. It is surrounded by 4 hectares of land, mainly producing oil, wine, honey and vegetables. The agriturismo can only be reached by foot, following a smooth dirt track for about 10 minutes. By prior arrangement, transport by car is possible.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in our house or outside in summer. You can have bred, cakes, marmelades, cheese, meet, eggs, muesli, yoghourt, coffee and Tee. It is served between 6 and 10.30

Surroundings (Fivizzano)

The agriturismo is located at the foot of Pizzo d’Uccello, Mount Pisanino and Mount Sagro, in an area that lends itself to a wide variety of excursions on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. The best known are Trekking Lunigiana and the Via Francigena, along with many other trails surrounded by nature. There are also some climbing routes (with a guide if required). The agriturismo has maps of trails and excursions available.
Several riding stables offer horse rides along the many bridleways.
Lucca can be visited in a day by train (Aulla-Lucca line). Other places of interest include the traditional Lunigiana Romanesque churches and visits to castles and medieval villages (Fosdinovo, Bagnone, Filattiera, Fivizzano and others). Nearby is Equi Terme, with its caves which can be visited with a guide and its thermal waters (swimming and pools along the river).
