The Donati Family offers two beautiful apartments completely renovated on the main street of the old medieval castle (XIII century) belonged to a noble family and Pannocchieschi In which, the lord of gavorrano, was the husband of the famous Pia Tolomei, whose story is narrated by Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy ("Siena mi fe Maremma unmade" Canto V of Purgatory). From both apartments you can master the wonderful scenery below the sea up the Gulf of Follonica where the sun set in a gorgeous sight. The apartments have electrical heating system with heat transmission and both have beamed ceilings and exposed bricks.

In and around our beautiful land, the Maremma, offers many routes that immersed in the countryside where you can admire the typical Mediterranean vegetation. Numerous sporting activities ranging from beach tournaments organized by the municipality of Follonica, to the sailing, surfing and diving. Olympic Pool in the town of Gavorrano numerisi and tennis courts (Tennis Club Follonica), two golf courses: the Joint Pelagone in Gavorrano and Golf Club Punta Ala (18 holes). There are several stables in the area. For sport lovers, we report the hippodrome dei Pini Follonica for harness racing and the racecourse Casalone in Grosseto, for gallop races.
