Surrounded by the woods of the Tuscan Maremma, Rifugio Seremus is an organic farm on top of a hill about 30 minutes from the sea. The 28-hectare estate is located at 250 meters above sea level and offers a breathtaking view of the Val di Cornia. A stay at Rifugio Seremus is an immersion in nature with an incredibly rich and preserved biodiversity, an ideal experience for contemplators, dreamers and lovers of nature in its purest form. On our certified BIO farm we mainly produce olive oil and honey. We grow fruit, vegetables and aromatic plants according to the principles of permaculture. Guests are welcomed in apartments with 2 to 5 beds, furnished in a sober and authentic style. All have a living room with sofa bed, kitchen, bedroom with separable beds, bathroom and veranda with table and chairs. The biopool is a natural pool, without chlorine or chemicals. The water is purified by aquatic plants through phytodepuration, thus reproducing the principle of self-purification typical of natural aquatic environments. All pets that have large spaces to run around, such as the olive grove and the woods that surround us, are accepted. Services, shops and restaurants are located in the nearby village of Suvereto, considered one of the most beautiful medieval villages in all of Tuscany. The beaches are about 20 km away, in the splendid Gulf of Baratti, or in the Rimigliano Park in San Vincenzo. Magnificent nature excursions on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback start from the Rifugio Seremus. A 15-minute drive away are the Terme di Sassetta, which host a wellness center. From the north: via Livorno motorway to Rosignano, then on the SS1 Aurelia exit at Venturina. From here follow the signs for Suvereto and continue towards Monterotondo Marittimo on the SR 398. At km 17,400 exit left, cross the bridge over the Cornia and follow the signs for 4 km. From the south: on the SS1 Aurelia, exit at Follonica Est, follow the signs for Massa Marittima. At the first roundabout take the SP19 towards Suvereto. Continue for 15 km inside the Montioni Park, at the crossroads turn right towards Monterotondo Marittimo on the SR 398. At km 17,400 exit left, cross the bridge over the Cornia and follow the signs for 4 km.
