In the green heart of Tuscany’s Maremma, between the Wine Route of the Etruscan Coast and the Monteregio Wine Road of Massa Marittima, lies Agriturismo San Domenico in Monterotondo Marittimo. Just a short drive away are the charming medieval villages of Massa Marittima and Suvereto.

Nestled at the foot of the small village of Frassine — known for the Sanctuary of Madonna del Frassine — the agriturismo is located within the San Regolo Wildlife Reserve, only 30 minutes from the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Follonica and 35 minutes from the Gulf of Baratti and the ancient acropolis of Populonia.

Housed in a traditional Tuscan farmhouse, Agriturismo San Domenico offers 8 elegantly furnished apartments: five one-bedroom units, one two-bedroom unit, and two larger apartments. Each has heating, satellite TV, a terrace or shaded outdoor area, and telephone upon request.

Guests can also enjoy a cozy common lounge with a fireplace, a swimming pool, a playground for children, mountain bikes, and fields for football and volleyball.

Throughout the year, you can enjoy a holiday surrounded by Tuscany’s unspoiled nature, rich in history, culture, food and wine trails, hiking, and mountain biking routes. The maritime climate and peaceful setting make it ideal for a relaxing escape.

The agriturismo is also a great base to explore the coast and the Tuscan Archipelago. The Venturina thermal baths are just 30 minutes away, and the famous Saturnia hot springs can be reached in just over an hour. Horse lovers will find nearby riding stables for nature trails on horseback.

Agriturismo SAN DOMENICO has eight flats of which: five two-bedrooms apartment, one three-bedroom apartment and two large and spacious apatments.

In the heart of Maremma, just 30 minutes from the Gulf of Follonica, 10 minutes from Suvereto 35 minutes from Piombino, port of embarkation for the island of Elba, Agriturismo San Domenico is well connected by highways and secondary roads.
About half an hour is the thermal park Venturina, more distant, at about 1.15 min is known Saturnia spa resort known for its sulfur springs.
