Fratelli Urbani agricultural estate has been producing natural wines on the hills of Monte Pisano since 1896. Today, the fourth generation of the family manages the vineyards and a holiday home created from a rural building renovated in 2009. Stone walls, wooden beams, and furnishings preserve the character of the original Tuscan countryside style. From here you can see the city of Lucca in the distance, while all around the vineyards of the property flourish.
Carlo and Francesca run the property as a family-managed agritourism. They host small groups for tastings of natural wines accompanied by local cured meats and cheeses, served in an informal setting among the vineyards. The holiday home is just a few minutes from Lucca, at the point where the city gives way to the first hills.
