Welcome in our magical, romantic old country house and estate in the country of Riparbella, in Tuscany, Italy. It was built with pink and grey stones and completely renovated according to the principles of bio-architecture. With 3 apartments, one meeting room of 80 qm (~6 x 18 yards), three double rooms and 13 hectares of beautiful pasture land and forest. The house is on the top of a hill, surrounded by oak, olive and cork trees. On the way to our Refuge, you can see the Tirrenian sea and the sunny islands of elba, capraia and corsica, surrounded by the wonderful view of the unspoilt forest. A few steps from the house there is a stream, the „Torignanino“. The atmosphere of the place evoques silence, calls the spirit to relaxation, meditation and healing and helps to come back to the natural psycho-physical balance. This place is a special wildlife reserve with deer, boars, birds and other wild and domestic animals. There are many beautiful paths for hiking and exploring the beauty of nature. For the lovers of the Italian cuisine: dinner from barbeque, tasting typical products of the place and special wines.For the lovers of toscany culture: visits to San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Siena, Firenze.

The Rifugio delle Poiane is an old house located in the southe green hills off Etruschi Road, the way of the finest wine in Tuscany and of old medieval villages. It is an ideal setting for relaxing and excursions. The house is situated just 13km from the sea, 30 minutes from Volterra, 45 minutes from San Gimignano, and an hour and a half from Florence and Siena. We offer double,triple and quadruple bedrooms all with private toilet. We hope you will stay with us and enjoy the wonderful and surreal atmosphere we offer our guests in the Tuscan Hills. We rent the whole building for stages, meetings and holidays. With kitchen, 18 beds with the possibility to order breakfast for each person.Map
