The exclusive chance of approaching the intriguing world of wine and high-quality Tuscan food, thanks to the dinners and tastings we organize exclusively for our guests.

Our farming culture is an expression of a simple and genuine lifestyle which constantly comes out in the attention to detail at the Agriturismo Marciano. First of all the renovation of our ancient farmhouse, where we courageously decided to maintain the original use of each room, reclaiming, if possible, all the original materials, from ancient terracotta bricks and typical sandstone, to wooden beamed ceilings. Our quiet bedrooms are furnished in a simple but refined style, with ancient carpets, curtains, and other soft furnishings. Our 3 bedrooms and 3 suite, all with private ensuite bathrooms, heating, and air conditioning, are wonderful for their simple style and absolute tranquillity.

Breakfast is served around the long chestnut table in our large kitchen; Dinners with seasonal menus are delightful experiences for your palate; Cooking lessons that are organized in our large kitchen, where small parties (min 2 - max 6 persons), can lea how to cook the basic dishes of the traditional Tuscan cuisine; Our lessons of vine growing, wine making, and tasting take place directly in the vineyards and in our winery.

Mens sana in corpore sano is an ancient saying that we always bare in mind when we cook, since high-quality food, prepared with genuine products coming from sustainable agriculture, can assure physical and mental health. The basic menu we offer is always seasonal and includes starters, a pasta dish, a second course with meat and at least five different types of vegetables, a selection of typical local cheeses, dessert, fruit and home-made ice cream (prepared with fruits in season). Every dish is accompanied with a different wine from our own production, perfect foil with each course of the menu. For guests who are affected by food allergies or have other dietary requirements, we can prepare specific menus (upon request). Dinner is served at the large common table, in the kitchen, where our guests, coming from different continents, can exchange experiences, impressions, and information.

Our daily bread, croissants, dumplings with fruits of the season, pizza with our own tomato sauce, pies with vegetables from our kitchen garden, traditional biscuits, and the cake of the day; we also prepare fresh fruit salad, different types of cereals, yoghurt, jams, fruit juice, coffee, milk, and different types of tea.

For those fond of landscaped hills, small ancient towns and wine producing farms, we suggest: • The region of Chianti Classico with its lovely hilltop towns such as Castellina in Chianti, 20Km away, Greve in Chianti, 45 Km away, its wineries that offer guided visits and wine tasting (to be booked in advance), ancient castles such as Brolio, 22Km away, Bossi, 18km away, Certosa di Pontignano 10 Km away, as well as the rural landscapes of gentle hills covered with vineyards and olive groves, surrounded by century-old woods;• The region of Crete Senesi, just 15 km away, a unique and wonderful landscape with rolling hills planted with wheat, its ravines, its ancient villages and the magnificent Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore;
