La Coccinella rises in Pornello, spanning 96 hectares in Umbria. Three beautifully restored 18th-century rural buildings overlook olive groves that produce organic extra virgin oil. The agritourism offers five apartments and an independent villa with five bedrooms and private pool. The apartments feature one or two bedrooms, living room with sofa bed, kitchen, fireplace and terrace or patio. Mornings bring homemade breakfasts prepared with local organic products.
Mathijs and Gigi, who work here, guide guests along the kilometer of white gravel road lined with cypress trees leading to the facilities. The panoramic pool measures 15 by 5 meters, with views across the valleys and mountains between Umbria and Tuscany. Around it, at 530 meters elevation, woodlands and meadows stretch beyond the horizon. The pursuit of quality, in both oil production and hospitality, remains the foundation.
