Immersed in an area of over 22 hectares, partly green parkland, partly cultivated with vineyards, olive groves, wheat, maize, sunflowers and barley, the farm looks out over Assisi, which is only three kilometres away. For over 200 years, the farm has been owned by the same family who, today as in the past, are bound to this land by a deep sense of love. Our guests will have access to a wide selection of accommodations, including apartments, studio apartments, and double rooms, all offering modern comforts while preserving the authentic and unspoiled atmosphere of these charming places. Each apartment features a welcoming living room with a fully equipped kitchen, while every bedroom is equipped with a private bathroom with shower. The two studio apartments on the ground floor also offer a pleasant living area and boast a small outdoor space overlooking a green meadow. All accommodations are provided with independent heating, air conditioning, refrigerator, dishwasher, television, wi-fi connection, and even a safe to ensure the autonomy and comfort of our guests. Additionally, guests can take advantage of paid laundry services, including self-service laundry and ironing service.
At the guests’ disposal at our Podere La Fornace farmhouse, the following services are included at no extra charge: – A magnificent outdoor swimming pool measuring 8×16 metres, which offers a splendid view of Assisi and is equipped with showers, umbrellas, sun loungers and terry towels. – A ping-pong table and a play area for children. – An orchard with an area specially equipped for a brick barbecue, where you can organise outdoor lunches and dinners in perfect tranquility and harmony. – The Sala delle Colonne, once used as a stable, with authentic columns and a manger, now decorated with plants. This room, reserved for guests, offers a fireplace from an ancient palace, comfortable armchairs, sofas and a games table, and is the ideal place to meet up or enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. – Free Wi-Fi connection throughout the property.
