Our inn is ready to welcome you into its completely renovated rooms, tastefully furnished and fitted with every modecomfort while respecting age-old local traditions. Cordial and family-like hospitality awaits you in a serene and relaxing oasis, in an environment that continues to respect the natural rhythms of life. Ours is a place where you can experience the tranquil sense of wellbeing that comes with being in touch with nature and enjoying the wholesome goodness of local foods.

The farmhouse was renovated using exclusively natural materials and water-saving technologies. What’s more, renewable energy sources were adopted to make the facility completely independent. The warm and welcoming main sitting room – with its brick arches, well-stocked corner bar, cheerful fire blazing in the old “cantone”, the characteristic fireplace with seats inside – is where guests can enjoy a relaxing read, entertaining moments or pleasant conversations. The two buildings, in addition to sitting rooms and common areas, consist of: - Two apartments for 4 guests+ 2, - Two apartments for 2 guests + 2, - One handicap accessible room for 2 guests + 1.

Services Farm-house

Our property has flower gardens and expansive verdant grounds where guests can enjoy long walks inside the property up to the edge of the forest, or pause for a quiet moment in a secluded spot where the silence is broken only by the sounds of nature and the singing birds. From the property you can look beyond the underlying, expansive green valley and glimpse the outline of the Tuscan hills, all the way to the mountains of Cetona and Amiata. The same scenery can be enjoyed from the windows and the balconies of the solarium – a lovely lookout point – or as you swim in the generously-sized swimming pool or join in a game on our multi-purpose playing field.

Surroundings (Castiglione del Lago)

Located in the centre of a territory rich with centuries of history, Poderina dei Poggi is the ideal base for quickly and conveniently reaching the most important tourist destinations and sites of cultural interest. It is easy to reach all of the most important cities of art in central Italy: Perugia, Siena, Arezzo, Orvieto, Assisi, Spello, Deruta, Gubbio, Norcia, Spoleto... Within a radius of just a few km head out on a discovery of monuments and works of art, of interesting spots, of food and wine and local handicrafts in the small villages, all rich with art and history, scattered throughout the territory: Panicale, Paciano, Chiusi, Cetona, Magione, Corciano... What’s more, located just 5 Km from high-speed railway lines, in just a few hours visitors can reach Florence and Rome, or even Milan and Naples.
