Verdealloggio is a typical early nineteenth-century farmhouse overlooking the stunning scenery of the Tiber valley. The recent renovation into two independent apartments has respected the architectural features of the ancient farmhouse and has maintained as much as possible the original structure and style of the interiors. Surrounded by six hectares of land, with its hilly panorama, Verdealloggio is above all a place to relax and rest. Its geographical position, 600 metres from the village of Giove, with its characteristic historic centre and imposing ducal castle, makes it an excellent starting point for visiting the numerous sites of historical and artistic interest in Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany. In the village there are food and clothing shops, a supermarket, a pharmacy, restaurants, bars, a pizzeria, a post office and a bank. Furthermore, its proximity to the railway station and the motorway exit makes day trips possible to the cities of Rome, Viterbo, Florence, Perugia, Terni, Todi and Assisi. In the small family-run farm we are mainly dedicated to beekeeping and the cultivation of plants for the farm's needs. For several years we have chosen to approach nature in a healthy way, using biodynamic organic farming methods, thanks to which it is possible to bring new forces to the Earth and obtain high quality products. In recent years we have added to the hive products a line of natural cosmetics for body care. The accommodation intended for agritourism guests is an ancient farmhouse in the Umbrian countryside, renovated and furnished with eco-compatible materials and divided into two apartments, each with a large outdoor space. In the ground floor apartment there is an ancient wood-burning bread oven, in perfect working order. The swimming pool is open from June to September. The price includes bed, bathroom and kitchen linen. A few metres from the house there is the private swimming pool. Two mountain bikes are available on the farm. Near the farm there are two riding stables and it is possible to go horse riding. There is also a swing for children and a barbecue. Pets are welcome (by prior agreement).
