L 'Montelovesco Farm is located at the center of a large family farm today recovered and grown according to organic farming principles. A few kilometers from Gubbio, Perugia and Assisi, Montelovesco ancient stronghold and was the scene of medieval battles. Today it is an oasis of tranquility. In winter it is an ideal base to enjoy the flavors of the local cuisine, participate in the olive harvest, walk around or simply be lulled by the gentle Umbrian landscape. The property, housed in a nineteenth-century building, has recently been renovated and transformed into a charming farmhouse, in full accordance with the architectural tradition of Umbria.
At Agriturismo Montelovesco we can accommodate groups of 2 to 10 people in rooms and apartments. All accommodations enjoy panoramic views, private services and safe deposit boxes and are furnished with original recovered furnishings and contemporary design pieces. The Agriturismo features a well-equipped outdoor area: conversation corners, chairs, tables, hammocks, sun loungers, bocce ball court, ping-pong table, and barbecue are available to guests. Sports enthusiasts can explore the property with one of our complimentary Mountain Bikes. Upon request, we can arrange transfers from the agriturismo to nearby cities as well as to the airport and train station. Available to guests are a washing machine, iron, and ironing board. Agriturismo Montelovesco is the perfect base for relaxing and exploring the treasures of the surrounding area: Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia, Città di Castello, alongside countless lesser-known medieval villages that are no less enchanting for their obscurity. Take Montone, home to the evocative Umbria Film Festival, an outdoor cinema festival. Or Pietralunga, renowned for its prized white truffles. For nature lovers, the Montecucco nature reserve is an ideal destination for walks and thrilling paragliding and hang-gliding flights. Within easy reach, you'll find the refreshing little waterfalls of Montelovesco—small pools formed by the cascades of the Lanna stream, nestled within our grounds just a thirty-minute walk from the farmhouse. Along the way stands the "castellaccio," an early medieval ruin dating back to the eleventh century.
